CNMI plans reversing some public servants' pay cuts

5:28 pm on 11 July 2012

The Northern Marianas government may restore at least eight of the 16 hours that were cut from most government employees' work hours each two-week pay period.

The Fitial administration plans to restore the 72-hour fortnights because of 12 million US dollars in additional projected revenue.

Plans are also afoot to restore the public servants to a full 80-hour per pay period from the middle of next year.
