Samoa police appeal for help with assault investigation

A 60 year old Chinese agriculturalist has been admitted to Samoa's national hospital following an assault near a Chinese agricultural project in the Apia suburb of Nu'u.

According to a police source, the victim is suffering from head injuries after being assaulted inside a house.

The police are appealing for public help in order to apprehend the culprit who broke into the victim's house and took off with cash and other belongings.

Our correspondent says the victim is in Samoa working on an agricultural project providing Chinese ways and ideas for farming.
