The New Zealand Speaker, David Carter, who led the team, told FBC News that he was pleased with what he saw.
Fiji's parliament re-opened last year - eight years after being shut during the military coup by Frank Bainimarama who won last September's election.
Mr Carter has invited his Fijian counterpart, Dr Jiko Luveni and staff from the parliament office, to a further visit.
