Sport: PNG coach hints at changes for World T20 qualifying match

Papua New Guinea cricket coach Dipak Patel says some new faces may come into the starting eleven for tonight's ICC World T20 qualifying match against Afghanistan.

The Barramundi's have suffered back to back defeats against Namibia and the United States but know that a win this evening will earn them a first ever trip to the global championship in India next year.

Dipak Patel says they've addressed some issues from the past two matches in training and he may look to change a few players in the team line up in an effort to get back to winning ways.

The last time PNG faced Afghanistan was during the last World T20 Qualifiers in Dubai three years ago, where they lost by six wickets.
