The Fiji prime minister is to make the government whip, Semi Koroilavesau, the new Minister of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations.
This was confirmed by Frank Bainimarama to Fiji One News.
Mr Koroilavesau will replace the President-elect, Jioji Konrote, who has resigned from the FijiFirst Party.
His resignation and the one of another MP will prompt the addition of two new MPs from last year's FijiFirst election list.
