The trial of a man in American Samoa charged with shooting a police officer dead five years ago is set to get underway this week.
Siaumau Siaumau is accused of the murder of police Lieutenant Liusila Brown, who was shot dead outside American Samoa's High Court in 2010, and of the attempted murder of two other police officers.
Liusila Brown had been on the force for almost 20 years.
The fatal shooting also prompted calls to arm police officers.
The jury selection is set to begin tomorrow.
