The Papua New Guinea Hunters rugby league coach says a dispute with players over training has been resolved.
The Hunters beat the Townsville Blackhawks 24-16 at the weekend to consolidate top spot in the Intrust Super Cup with two rounds remaining in the regular season.
"We knew it was going to be a tough one against the Blackhawks in front of their home fans and being their last home game in Townsville that they were going to be a strong side," said head coach Michael Marum.
"But we stuck to our game and I was really proud of the effort we put in all match but particularly the second half we defended back to back sets on our goal-line".

Earlier this month Marum revealed that players had complained they were training too much and did not turn up for scheduled session.
Since that disruption the team have managed back to back wins home and away and Marum said the issue is sorted.
"I think basically after the two losses everyone was just looking for excuses and now the boys quickly moved on and started training," he said.
"But we've done really well again - we managed to get them back into training camp and now we've focused their minds on the job and we did well against the (Ipswich) Jets before and then now we beat Townsville so everyone's back in good spirit again and looking forward to getting off to a good finish to the competition".

The Hunters host Wynnum Manly Seagulls on Sunday where a win will secure their maiden minor premiership title.
