2:10  The Hip Hop Teacher - Du-jon Cullingford
And hip hop music is finding a place on the cirriculum in Hamilton thanks to a young teacher who's already danced his way around the world.
Du-jon Cullingford is one of our champion break-dancers, he's performed and competed in competitions everywhere from Australia to the USA and South East Asia,  and as far afield as Mozambique. Now he's back home in Hamilton, and teaching his students  not only break-dancing, but his core values of  "fun, family, and funk"

2:20  Mr Golds - Jane Murray - In New Plymouth, the Murray family have an unexpected house guest.
He's quite low-maintenence; they don't have to feed him and he doesn't take up much room. He is valuable however. A collectors item,  in fact. He's Mr Gold Lego. Gold from the tip of his top hat to the soles of his shoes.
There's only 5,000 Mr Golds in the world right now, and they're fetching a good price on e-bay, so the Murrays have to decide what to do with their one.

2:30 Reading - Gerard Hindmarsh learns about the power of the old boys network as he faces the planning process  in today's instalment of his  memoir, recalling days when he became an alternative lifestyler.

3:10 Feature interview - Science and Health editor for Slate.com Laura Helmuth
Fly screens, cotton, those dots on the highway that make you stay in your lane .... we'll talk to the Health Editor of Slate.com about some of the underappreciated people, innovations, and ideas that have not only assisted us through life but kept us alive.

3:30 Asian Report - Lynda Chanwai-Earle - Refugee resettlement is a process that children and youth experience too. Sometimes overlooked, there is a recent service set up specifically to help refugee youth. Lynda is in Auckland meeting the team behind RYAN, the "Refugee Youth Action Network".

4:06 David Slack and Andrew Clay are on The Panel - What will children's ID numbers be used for? Auckland's mayoral candidates decide to support a living wage as we ask why wages are so high in civic utilities like Watercare. Do you need to pay the CEO of a utility nearly 800,000 dollars a year? More questions - why would the European Union have 44 diplomats in Barbados? How do we get around the problem of simply not knowing who we're voting for in local body elections? And the teachers toolkit for dealing with unruly young people - how good are the tools?
