Worldwide, glaciers are receding at an unprecedented rate. For several years, the Franz Josef and Fox glaciers on the West Coast bucked this trend and continued advancing, but now, they too are shrinking. Veronika Meduna joins Victoria University glaciologist Brian Anderson on a walk on Franz Josef where he explain his team's effort to predict how New Zealand's glaciers will change in the future.
