Newly listed security software firm Wynyard Group has won a contract with Queensland Rail in a deal worth close to $1 million.
Wynyard says it was selected following a competitive tender process and will help the infrastructure company, which has an annual revenue of $2.1 billion, collate the data it requires to establish risks across its business.
Managing director Craig Richardson said Wynyard Group offered risk management, intelligence and investigations products.
"We're seeing quite high demand for our risk management product which really enables infrastructure companies, financial services companies or even government to manage all the threats that may present to their operations," Mr Richardson said.
"To have banner customers like Queensland Rail taking our products is strong endorsement of both the products we have and really the mission that the company is following."
The deal offered the company a good opportunity, he said.
