Nuplex is expecting another record profit but warns the surging currencies of New Zealand and Australia could dent earnings growth.
The resins and chemical maker is forecasting a full-year profit of between $68 million and $75 million which, if realised, would break last year's record surplus of $64.2 million.
Nuplex managing director Emery Severin says demand, while patchy, is picking up, but the rising New Zealand and Australian currencies are affecting returns.
