A New Zealander has reportedly been killed while rock-climbing on the Dalmatian coast in Croatia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade says it is investigating reports that a New Zealand man and a Finnish woman were involved in an incident at Ilinac Rock.
The region is popular with rock-climbers and outdoor adventure enthusiasts.
Local media say the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service received a call for help from two people on Sunday evening, local time.
When they arrived, they found the man dead and the woman with serious injuries.
