Police have arrested and charged two men with the murder of Shalvin Prasad.
The 21-year-old's body was found burning in a scrub fire in the South Auckland suburb of Kingseat on 31 January.
Detective Inspector Dave Lynch says two men, aged 18 and 20, will appear in the Manukau District Court on Friday.
Mr Lynch says although police are pleased to have made early arrests, there is still much work to do to complete the investigation and prepare the file for court.
