The receiver for Mainzeal says it is unlikely one company will take over the construction sites from the failed firm.
New Zealand's third largest building company went into receivership earlier in February.
Colin McCloy, a receiver for PWC, says it is likely that the sites will be sold separately.
Mr McCloy says PWC has spoken to a number of interested parties looking to take over one or more sites and negotiations should be completed in a couple of weeks.
