A woman has been critically injured after she was hit by a car on Auckland's North Shore.
Police said the elderly woman was strukc on Taharoto Rd in Takapuna just before 7pm this evening.
She was taken to Auckland Hospital by ambulance.
The serious crash unit was investigating and diversions were in place, police said.
