Some inner suburbs of Auckland are without power after a car hit a power pole.
The police were called to the accident on the corner of Garnet Road and West End Road in Westmere just after 7pm.
Vector said parts of Westmere and Herne Bay were without power and it wouldn't be restored until early tomorrow morning.
