The National Party continues to hold a commanding lead over the Labour Party in the latest political poll.
The TVNZ poll shows National is up one to 51%, while Labour is up one to 29%.
National Party leader, John Key, is still the preferred Prime Minister, down four to 48%, with Labour's new leader, David Shearer, in at 11%.
The Green Party is up one at 11%, while New Zealand First is down one to 3%.
The Maori, ACT, Conservative and Mana parties have all registered 1%.
The poll surveyed 1000 people and has a margin of error of 3.1%.
