Searchers looking for a missing Christchurch man have recovered a body from scrub between Glenhope and Tapawera, about 30km south-west of Nelson.
A police spokesperson says the body was found off Dry Weather Road about 10pm on Thursday.
Formal identification is yet to be completed, but police believe the person recovered fits the description of Mark William Robinson, 37, who has not been seen since the morning of 7 December.
Mr Robinson's car was found in Dry Weather Road on Sunday night.
