Two people have died in a car crash in the Far North, and a pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a bus in Rotorua last night.
The police said the Northland crash happened at 6pm at the Puketona Rd and highway junction in Oromahoe.
Four people were injured, but not seriously.
The road was closed for several hours.

Police said the woman was hit by the bus at the intersection of Te Ngae and Coulter Roads in the suburb of Owhata, at 7.30pm yesterday.
The Police Serious Crash Unit are investigating and the roads was closed for several hours.
