Police in Wellington suspended a two-day search for a missing lawyer on Sunday night after failing to find any sign of him.
The search for Robert Logan, 51, of Kilbirnie, began on Friday night when his vehicle was found in the Owhiro Bay car park, on the south coast.
Six search teams were in the area on Saturday and nine teams, including volunteers from Horowhenua and the Wairarapa, continued to look on Sunday.
They were helped by the police dive squad, the Westpac rescue helicopter and friends and family of Mr Logan.
Police say the search is suspended until further information is obtained, but ask anyone who might know his whereabouts, to come forward.
