Lehman has little interest in toning down sledging

The Australia cricket coach Darren Lehman has shown little interest in discussing toning down the sledging for the remainder of the Ashes series.

The England batsman Jonathan Trott returned home following the opening test loss in Brisbane with a stress-related illness and England coach Andy Flower doesn't want Trott's sensitive departure to become a topic of conversation on the pitch.

He's considering discussing the matter with his Australian counterpart Lehmann.

Flower says a balance has to be found between competitiveness and not overstepping the line.

But Lehmann says touring sides are always going to cop abuse just like Australia did in England earlier this year.
