Police say an investigation into a complaint against former National Party MP Richard Worth is continuing.
Detective Inspector Paul Basham says Dr Worth was interviewed in Auckland last week but no recommendation has been made regarding the final outcome of the investigation.
Mr Basham says detectives in Wellington and Auckland are continuing to make inquiries.
Dr Worth resigned from Parliament nearly three weeks ago after earlier resigning his ministerial posts when the complaint - which is of a sexual nature - came to light.
