Fonterra plans to buy out its partner in a Saudi Arabian processing venture.
The company has a conditional agreement to buy the 51% of Saudi New Zealand Dairy Products currently owned by Saudi Dairy & Foodstuff.
Sadafco is the kingdom's third-biggest food maker. it is based in Jeddah.
No price was disclosed for the transaction, which is expected to be settled in January.
