A young Auckland woman is in a serious condition in Waikato hospital after a fall at a party in Whangamata.
Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance says a helicopter was sent to Whangamata at 11pm on Wednesday to transport her.
The woman, 18, had lost consciousness. She was treated at the Whangamata medical centre until the helicopter and paramedics arrived.
