Iran enriched uranium stockpile now 2.5 tonnes - IAEA

The International Atomic Energy Agency says Iran has produced nearly double the amount of enriched uranium that West nations want removed from the country.

A confidential IAEA report obtained by the BBC says Iran has stockpiled nearly 2.5 tonnes of low enriched uranium.

The BBC reports that's twice the amount needed to make fissile nuclear warhead material.
