More than 60 firefighters battled a suspicious fire at a shop in West Auckland early on Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out at Geoff's Emporium on Lincoln Rd just before 1am.
Fire Service spokesperson Jaron Phillips says firefighters battled the blaze for about two hours and managed to contain it to the first floor of the two-storey building.
Mr Phillips says the the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, but it is being treated as suspicious.
Police say they are speaking to three people seen in the area.
