One person has been killed and at least 10 others injured during a series of freak tornadoes in northern and western Poland.
The BBC reports about 100 houses were destroyed in Kujawy-Pomorze and Wielkopolska provinces.
Residents described hearing a terrifying rumble as the tornado approached.
Some 400 hectares of trees were also damaged in Bory Tucholskie forest, a national park.
Electricity lines have also been damaged.
A BBC reporter says tornadoes are not unknown in Poland, but this summer has been particularly dramatic.
