Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor will perform at Barack Obama's inauguration on 21 January when he begins his second term as President of the United States.
Beyonce will sing the national anthem; Clarkson My Country 'Tis of Thee and Taylor will perform America the Beautiful.
Organisers said Mr Obama was involved in selecting the performers.
