Eleven police officers and six others were killed on Wednesday in an attack by the Taliban on a police post in Afghanistan.
Both the Taliban and al-Qaeda are known to operate in Ghazni province, where the assault happened.
Ghazni Governor Musa Khan Akbarzada said two guards had been arrested for questioning about why they failed to stop the attack.
