Eighteen people have died in a suicide-bomb attack on a military barracks in Algeria.
A security source says two bombers, one on a motorcycle, detonated themselves at the entrance to the barracks in the town of Cherchell, about a hundred kilometres west of the capital, Algiers.
The attack took place just after Muslims observing the holy month of Ramadan had broken their daily fast.
