Bee Gees star Robin Gibb has reportedly been diagnosed with liver cancer. The singer has been looking increasingly frail in public over the past few weeks.

Gibb, 61, was taken to hospital on Tuesday after his health deteriorated.

He is now back at home in London with his family. His mother and brother Barry have both flown to Britain from America to be with him.

Gobb's wife Dwina has reportedly been studying alternative medications, and has also arranged for him to be treated by a London clinic. The two have been married for 26 years.

In October, Gibb was hospitalised after experiencing stomach pains.

Other Bee Gee members Andy, 30, died in 1988 and Maurice, Robin's twin brother, died in 2003.

The family have not commented on the report.
