A memorial service has been held in the city of Liege, Belgium, for those killed and wounded in a gun and grenade attack there a week ago. An estimated 3000 people attended.
Five people were killed by Nordine Amrani, 33, including himself last Tuesday. More than 100 were wounded.
Wreaths of white roses were laid in Place Lambert by Crown Prince Philippe, Princess Mathilde and Prime Minister Elio di Rupo. Security was tight for the event.
The BBC reports the motive for the attack is still unclear. More than 9000 gun parts and 2800 cannabis plants were found at Amrani's home in 2007. He was jailed in 2009, but given parole in October 2010.
