Mana rules out working with National and ACT

11:15 am on 6 November 2011

The Mana Party has ruled out any working with the National and ACT parties after the election.

Mana leader Hone Harawira says the health and welfare of Maori has gone backwards over the three years that National has been in government.

Mr Harawira says Mana wants to give voters a clear indication of who it would align with and could comfortably work with the Green Party in Parliament, as well as with Labour and the Maori Party.

He says the Maori Party is also doing its best to distance itself from National, after making no gains for Maori in its coalition government.
