Police in Solomon Islands have confirmed that another officer has been killed on Guadalcanal's Weather Coast, where a several dozen strong police force has been hunting rebel leader Harold Keke for two months.
The death is believed to have happened on Wednesday evening during an attack by Keke's men on a police camp.
The raid has also left two other officers seriously injured.
Our correspondent says police believe that Keke is running short of ammunition and that is why the rebels attacked the camp.
Four of the police team have now been killed during the hunt for Keke, including two two weeks ago.
