The Archbishop of the Church of Melanesia in Solomon Islands, Sir Ellison Pogo, has welcomed the more conciliatory attitude displayed by rebel leader Harold Keke
Sir Ellison says the new attitude may make it easier for Keke to be captured alive and to ensure he is brought before the courts, which is what the majority of Solomon Islanders would like to see happen.
"Secondly, he has volumes of information that he could release and that could be helpful as well in trying to get others who are also involved or implicated."
