Fiji Warriors continue to lead the Pacific Cup after three rounds

The Fiji Warriors maintained their unbeaten run by thrashing Tonga's Tautahi Gold 32-16 in the third round of the IRB Pacific Rugby union cup in Nausori on Saturday.

Fiji dominated the game with test winger, Mosese Luveitasau scoring two tries towards the five try fest to clinch a bonus point win.

A try each to hooker, Sunia Koto, flanker, Akapusi Qera, and replacement flanker, Isireli Ledua.

Tautahi's first five Vikilani Afeaki kicked three penalties in the first half while Atunaisa Faka'osi scored a consolation try in the final minute.

In Tonga, Upolu Samoa scored their first win scraping home against the homeside Tau'uta Reds 20-19 in Nukualofa.

Both sides scored two tries each but the kicks made the difference

For Tonga tries to number eight Teuimuli Kaufusi, first five Tevita Kaufusi, and lock Tevita Tanginoa.

Samoa replied with two tries to centre Kiri Mariner, and one to wing Lakapo Bardley.

And the Fiji Barbarians notched up their first win handing Savaii Samoa their first loss

14-13.

So after three rounds...Fiji Warriors lead with 11 points, Savaii Samoa 9, Upolu Samoa, 7 Tau'uta Reds 6, Fiji Barbarians 5, and Tautahi Gold 4.
