Tropical Storm Saomai passed over Guam early yesterday with only minor damage but
forecasters say residents might not want to put their storm supplies away just yet.
Saomai officially marks the beginning of Guam's typhoon season.
The National Weather Service in Guam told Pacific Daily News while there is no way to predict when a storm will form, how severe it will be or how long it will, residents should always be prepared.
