The Samoan government has announced a change of working hours for government employees, which it says will help ease traffic problems in the country's capital.
Instead of the normal starting time of eight in the morning and finish at 4 in the afternoon public servants will start at 9 and end at 5 in the evening.
Government employees will no longer spend one hour for lunch break but only 30 minutes according to the prime minister.
The Government's schools will also start at 8.30 in the morning and finish at 2 in the afternoon.
The new changes will start on January 22nd
Meanwhile the private sector will continue with their normal working hours of 7 and 8 in the morning until 3 and 4.30 in the afternoon.
