Fiji coach to return to New Zealand for domestic competition

10:21 am on 13 February 2007

Fiji's netball coach Vilimaina Davu will set a training program for her national squad players before leaving to play for the Northern Force side in the National Bank Cup in New Zealand.

Davu says the Fijian side has been preparing well and she believes they'll have no problems in continuing with the training program without her.

The former Silver Fern defender joins the Force at the end of this month and she is expected to play in the first game for the Force against the Southern Sting in the

first week of April.

Davu says she'll be able to play only three games for the Force before

returning to coach Fiji for the World Cup to be held in Auckland in November.
