Local caterers in Samoa have voiced disappointment over the suggestion by the Minister for the South pacific games, Faumuina Tiatia Liuga, no caterer has the capacity to feed the 5,000 athletes in August.
Faumuina says no one has the cash flow or the workforce required and because of this a catering specialist from Australia has been brought in to check out the situation
But his comments have raised concerns from many local caterers who have already made bids to provide food for the athletes.
