Fiji won 2 gold and 1 silver medal at the Queensland Athletics Championships in Brisbane over the weekend.
Fiji's 2007 Sportswoman of the Year, Makelesi Batimala won gold in the 400m event in 52.76 and the 200 metres final in 23.42s.
Leslie Copeland, won the silver medal in the Men's Javelin event with a throw of 67.93m.
Mr Batimala is the only Fiji athlete so far to qualify for Beijing.
