In Samoa, the driver of a bus that crashed and killed eight passengers has admitted in court to two counts of negligent driving causing death and injuries.

The defendant, Felise Tuaoi, was released two weeks ago from custody to allow him to undergo medical treatment.

He will be sentenced in February next year.
