Tuvalu will be hosting a festival for the first time later this month to raise awareness about the country's vulnerability to climate change.
The King Tide Festival is planned to become an annual event.
The three day festival will be filled with traditional sporting activities, including a bicycle race, a fishing expedition using outrigger canoes and canoe racing.
The Environment Department will host a half day awareness programme on climate change.
