The Cook Islands team is approaching this week's Pacific Netball Series a strong sense of belief and confidence.
The team impressed at last year's tournament, beating hosts Papua New Guinea and World Champs-bound Samoa.
New coach Margaret Foster says the challenge in Fiji this week is to build on that performance and push for the overall title.
"We've got three games and the focus is, as like with any coach, the focus is to win. To win that tournament and to take down all three of those teams - Samoa, PNG and Fiji - and just take each day as it comes but yeah we're going over there to have a crack at winning the tournament."
Matches get underway on Wednesday afternoon with Cook Islands taking on Samoa and Fiji playing PNG.
Vanuatu will face the Fiji Under 21 team in a development fixture earlier in the day.
