Further NZ rotation for Solomons deployment

The latest rotation of New Zealand military personnel is due to depart Burnham Military Camp today for Solomon Islands for a four-month deployment supporting the Regional Assistance Mission.

It is the 16th New Zealand rotation since RAMSI was set up nine years ago.

The 34 personnel will work alongside the police as part of RAMSI's commitment to help lay the foundations for long-term stability, security and prosperity.
