In American Samoa, Maugaoalii Sipa Anoa'i has been returned as the House representative for District Number 8, Fagatogo.
He was the winner of a lot draw this afternoon after he had tied with the incumbent Vailiuama Steve Leasiolagi in last week's election.
Both had got 207 votes.
Maugaoalii had previously served two terms as the Fagatogo representative but was defeated by Vailiuama in the 2010 elections.
Vailiuama had been chairman of the House Budget and Appropriations Committee over the last two years.
