Vanuatu opposition claims to have numbers to oust Kilman

Vanuatu's opposition claims to have a majority of 28 MPs to the government's 26, ahead of tomorrow's no confidence vote.

But the Prime Minister, Sato Kilman, has told the Daily Post newspaper that his government has time to try and secure more support.

He says in Vanuatu politics, even a minute is a long time.

Mr Kilman says if members of his own Cabinet have switched sides, that is their democratic right.
