The Northern Marianas governor, Eloy Inos, has assured government workers that there will no work hour cuts for fiscal year 2014.

Government employees have expressed concern that they would again be subject to up to 16-hour work cut per pay period

While allaying their concerns, Governor Inos has urged the CNMI to continue to tighten their belts, saying it has to generate additional revenue of at least 12 million US dollars to meet new or expanded government obligations.

This is on top of the 123 million dollars already budgeted.
