The Judiciary of Guam has been ranked on the list of the top 30 employers from all over the United States and its territories.
The Judiciary was selected among 2,600 employer nominations vying for the 2014 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award to be presented in September.
Josephine Blas, who is the Programme Administrator for the Employer Support of the Guard, says everyone on the island is proud.
It's a great honour being from a small island, way out here in the Pacific. I mean, it's hard to imagine that we can compete with the rest of the nation. But it's just a great honour that we were recognised - what our employers do here on Guam. We were recognised for taking care of our service members.
