The producer of a Samoa luxury skincare range is hoping the products may soon be available around the world.

Lufilufi Rasmussen has been showing her Misiluki range at a trade show in Japan alongside the designer clothing label TAV from the Cook Islands, and companies from the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, Palau and Tonga.

The International Gift Show attracts 300,000 attendees to 2,500 stall over three days.

Lufilufi Rasmussen says the 83rd Tokyo International Gift Show is part of an international marketing strategy aimed at securing agent representation and high-end chain store contracts.

Misiluki, which uses natural oils, is only available in Samoa and in New Zealand online.

Ms Rasmussen says Misiluki has been seven years in the making and she has always had this vision to have the range sold globally.
